Parker played for the Sooners from to , and is the Sooners' eighth all-time leading rusher.[4]

When Bob Stoops became the third head coach in Parker's tenure at Oklahoma in , Parker decided to forgo his senior season, despite several attempts by Stoops to keep him with the team.[5] He was taken by the Green Bay Packers with the th overall pick in the fifth round of the NFL draft.[6] In his only NFL start in , Parker rushed for yards and two touchdowns.[7] He later joined the Detroit Lions, but did not play.
